Meet Our Donors
Bob and Susan Gadomski
Bob and Susan Gadomski have been longtime Tocqueville Society members and donors to United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley (UWGLV). So when having the discussion about leaving a lasting legacy for the community came up, the solution was easy.
Bob, retired executive vice president at Air Products, was a former UWGLV Board member, and four years ago helped restart UWGLV's endowment efforts by chairing the endowment committee and Legacy Circle. While Bob has stepped down as chair, he still remains an active committee member. He was responsible for leading the committee which helped to more than double the cash endowment and raise nearly $10 million in future expectancies in the last four years.
Susan, a retired speech pathologist in both public and private schools, remains committed to educational programming and participates regularly in UWGLV impact initiatives with Bob.
Bob and Susan support many organizations around the community and have been recognized for their philanthropic generosity on numerous occasions.
Supporting the endowment fund at UWGLV with annual contributions, they have also included UWGLV as a bequest in their will. Bob has said that he had never thought about a bequest but it was one of the easiest things they have ever done.
Bob and Susan Gadomski have always led by example and we are proud of their lifelong association with United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
